My path into the legal profession was not a straight one. Before studying law, I studied business administration and worked as a sales director in the real estate and securities industry. Those years shaped how I advise today: I know how business decisions feel before they are assessed legally.
After studying law in Bremen, being admitted as a lawyer in 2008 and working at various law firms, I set up my own firm in Neuruppin and Wustrau in 2012 and ran it until 2025 — with a focus on family, criminal and equine law. Back in Hamburg, this became Brandes The Lawyers on Neuer Wall.
I trained as a Hypnosystemic Coach IHC® at the Institut Ina Hullmann Coaching because of a simple observation: in many engagements, the legal position was never the real problem. Today, together with Ina Hullmann, I develop models that bring the hypnosystemic approach together with the legal profession and with work with high performers.
After our conversation, you should be able to explain what it is all about. If you can't, we haven't explained it well enough.
Even when the assessment is uncomfortable. If an engagement has no prospect of success, we decline it.
We do not decide for you. We make sure you are able to decide — with all the information and without any time pressure we can avoid.
Same-day call-backs wherever possible. We communicate deadlines proactively, not on request.
